Meh. You're right.
Not trying to be rude....I just have a hard time empathizing with some gozillionaire's plight. Be him black, white or rainbow-flavored.
Meh. You're right.
I love Richard Sherman. He's got a great story. We will be seeing him long after his playing career is over, possibly in broadcasting or in some other hi-profile business. He's this generation's Deion Sanders.
Who didn't love Deion?
I believe players are still fined for throwing the balls into the stands but not if they hand the ball to someone.
While we're at it, let's take all the fuckers that live in L.A. and N.Y. who wear that shit like an arm badge and have to remind you of their place of residence every opportunity they get...and put them on a boat too.
Good stuff, but you have lots of people saying that the very act of celebrating anything in sports constitutes "showing up the other team," or "taking away from their teammates' accomplishments."
The league even invented a penalty for it.
People used to criticize Muhammad Ali for this (arrogance, flamboyance) back in the day.
Then Ali became a Muslim and a conscientious objector to the Vietnam War.
This added to the criticism.
Sherman, a Stanford graduate, is much more intelligent than Deion.
You don't get into Stanford being a semi-literate SEC type athlete.
You don't graduate stanford unless you have solid intellectual skills.
Oh yeah, you're right a player (QB) can celebrate any time he want to, but there will be some big DE or LB that will put a good "clean" hit on him. It's coming!!Player celebrate all the time. Eric fucking decker celebrates every time he scores. Stop the bullshit and acting like Cam is the first person in NFL history to celebrate when he scores
What if they're throwing it to someone in the stands?

Want him to stop celebrating? How about you stop his ass and don't get fucking destroyed by his offense.[/QUOTE.
Good point and some team or player will eventually ally "stop his ass".
As someone else said this morning, Cam was asked 3X to expound on why he is perceived by some in a certain way. He did not have an agenda as he went to the podium. They asked him a direct question in several different ways. If you don't want the dead honest answer, stop baiting him and asking him the same question in different ways
Yeah, I look for Denver's defense to put a hurt on Cam, sooner or later.Maybe sooner rather than later, too!
I'm fine with that take. As long as you're consistent. Is a spike considered showing up the other team?
Sanders went to an ACC school, but otherwise, yeah.
I was insulting the SEC.
