If rigging the game for LAR - why miss Donald getting held all game and the crucial no facemask call on Goff the previous drive? These are always the glaring holes in your theories...

FWIW, you can also see from that refs vantage point that it's entirely possible that he misjudged where the ball was when the contact happened. The players and ball were coming directly at him. It was a horrid call, but it's pretty easy to see that his perception of the ball being in front of the receiver or behind him was the issue.

Although there was the helmet to helmet no call.....But I can see where the ref misjudged the timing off the ball and the hit of the reciever.....

But when you see a "ref" standing RIGHT IN FRONT of a blatant penalty ( lol ) and nothing is called, it's hard to take this league seriously.

The AAF and XFL couldn't strike at a better time than this.

the more the NFL doesn't rebuke missing an obvious incomplete pass and keeping it a catch (with REPLAY) or an official thinking a shoulder pad is a facemask, or an obviously incorrect DPI or laughably taking a defensive score off the board, the less credibility it has in this argument.

The NBA even does a report for at least the last 2 minutes.

The NFL gives you nothing.

I have a hard time believing after all these years of cheating the fans for the love of the game,that someone has not gotten caught or someone has blabbed about it......There's just too much involved in the game for a whole league to get by with it.......

Rigging a competitive event doesn't require everyone involved. Or a majority. Only a handful. Or one, if it's the right one.


Nearly every sport, at every level, has been rigged at some point. Most without much of any fanfare.



Everyone has a price. And it's often disappointingly low. You are very nieve.

Makes one wonder why Detroit and Cleveland always seem to suck.

I'm not sure if it was a personal foul helmet-to-helmet flag. That was rather incidental and it certainly wasn't a hit with the crown. Their facemasks sort of just collided.

The belief that any professional sport is rigged is horrendously stupid. I laugh at the people who use the NO/LAR game as an example. If the officials were rigging the game for LAR... then why miss a blatant facemask which would have been crucial on the previous drive?

To get to a key player, that means you're likely talking about paying off a guy whose making 10-20 mil per season. The max bet in any Vegas sports book might pay that guys credit card bill for one month. lol. He's going to risk everything for literally zero gain.

So far as officials? You'd have to provide me an example of NFL games which actually stands out as fishy. We know for a fact LAR was boned as much as NO in that game. That's always the problem with crying a game as being rigged. I've never seen one where the winning team wasn't also screwed over at some point.

99% of NFL games go by without any type of true game shifting incident as a result of officiating. It actually amazes me how well they call such a chaotic, violent game.

I’m not say that they rigged it either way or that any game is. But could have been the case in the past. This non-call was total incompetence, non-professional, that is all.
