I always have.....3 other arguments i got still up in the air i had on here......dennard robinson wont be that good or get hurt....said he was no better than a 5th round pick...jason fox wont be the answer.....and the lions should of drafted the honey badger, hes gonna be pretty good.

I just saw Stafford as the kind of QB who'd win 4 games in year 4....

I just seen any guy we drafted to play QB, would end up hurt with our OL. i really thought bradford was going to be better out of the 2....glad we got staff, because my plan would of gotten smith and bradford....instead of staff and suh......damn i would of looked like a mini millen.

That draft was actually pretty shitty when you look at how good alot of the players are now.

Most people wanted Smith because Backus was coming off the worst year of his career and they felt they needed to have protection before they brought in a QB.

I did not care for Smith, but I wanted Curry. I was a big fan of Stafford and figured we could only improve so much and we would have a shot at Bradford in the next year.

My plan would have stuck us with a lesser QB and no Suh. I am glad we did not go that way.

Holy shit.....should of read all the posts before i posted......this is EXACTLY how i felt.

Build a OL....suck another year....get bradford. ....

Bite your tongue!!!!!! I got a hunch Denard Robinson will be in the league longer then Leshoure or Tebow....A first round pick and 2nd round pick....I'll eat crow if I'm wrong.

SHOCKER: 37% of Lions fans want Curry, more than Stafford and Smith!

According to a poll on detroitlions.com which asked who should the Lions take first overall, the results are as follows.

Aaron Curry - 37%
Jason Smith - 25%
Matt Stafford - 23%

More than 26,000 votes were cast.

Hard to believe. I mean, who was our QB when Stafford was drafted? I honestly do not remember, my guess is that it was Culpepper with Orlovsky as backup. How can people be so ignorant?

So this means when he is washed up, Lions will land him for a 5th round pick.

I can only pray and hope that's the case......

All I need to say about Denard Robinson a 5th round pick is that he's playing KR PR RB WR and Wildcat at QB for Jacksonsivlle......

Atleast the Jaguars are using him correctly, I feel so bad for Tebow........

Denard Robinson has touched the ball in all those aspects this pre-season so far.....The talent is there. I would love to have him on the Lions.:laugh3:

I'd be willing to put money down that The Honey Badger dies with a needle stuck in his arm. That dudes a mess we didn't need to get involved with. I wish him luck though. His QBs a quitin ass lil bitch. (That may or may not factor into my wager)

So you think he'll be in the league longer than a former 1st round QB who is now fighting to make a roster, and a RB, the position with the shortest average NFL lifespan? What a bold a fearless prediction! :laugh3:

OK so I broke down and looked it up. Orlovsky started 7 games; Culpepper started 5 games and Kitna started 4 games.

Leshoure playing running back but actually not running or taking snaps adds years to his career. I thought running backs lifespan was based on taking hits, if thats the case Leshoure should be playing well into his 40s, It's hard to take hit when your on the bench or IR.

Last I checked Denard was a Back up QB and a RB for Jacksonville.....So Yes I would say it was a pretty fearless prediction.
