Couldn't find a more appropriate or whatever place for this.

Just received some really shitty news.

Last Friday, my younger brother's wife was in such pain that he rushed her to the hospital in Chatanooga. They found a couple of Gall Stones but took some blood because she appeared to be slightly Jaundiced. Then they did Cat scans and found a growth on her pancreas and a spot on her liver. They went in and took biopsies.

The news was bad. Malignant cancer in both organs. Can't be operated on. The best scenario from last Friday would have been a procure called Whipple Surgery. That involves removing the gall bladder, a section of the pancreas and a section of the liver. Very complicated and not done very often. From all indication, they can't do anything because the pancreas does not respond well to exposure to air. Worse if cancer is present. The liver tumor has obstructed the relief duct causing her jaundice. They will be able to go in and place an aortical stent in the duct and that will allow the liver to operate.

The oncologist, internal surgeon and pancreatic specialist will meet this afternoon and discuss all option. Right now Chemo appears to be the only treatment that she will be able to have.

She's 66 and looks 35. Been a beautiful girl her entire life. She had a tumor when she was 17 and the surgeon nearly killed her and destroyed her uterus. Never was able to have children so her and my brother adopted. They've been looking at houses near me and planned to move here. They took their house off the market yesterday.

Thanks for listening.
Sorry to hear it but happy to listen.

The Jets are all mocking it up for "Hard Knocks". HBO is playing them up big time and it's actually the Aaron Rogers Show.
Three minutes of him walking out to practice and 10,000 people in the stands going berserk. I've watched about 15 minutes and AR has thrown about 30 passes. Saleh has said "fuck" about twenty times and he's talking in a classroom.

Just read what he was saying and clearly he doesn't get what do your job actually means.

More often than not you lose by letting the other team take advantage of match ups. That happens when players lose focus of "their job" and react on their own. That means the team needs to react to the opposition and their own players instead of just the opposition.

I hope he is able to plead and play.
Love his stuff
No matter how this works out legally, the NFL will certainly have to have their fingers in the bowl. Most likey a minimum of four games suspended with forfeiture of pay. 'specially because he's a Patriot.

Either it was an honest mistake or he deserves serious jail time. If it were an honest mistake, why would the league need to suspend him?

It's the handguns. Makes the league look bad. Trying to bring two loaded handguns on an airplane, honest mistake or terrorist act, the league has been hitting these offenses with some pretty stiff penalties.

Even if it's an honest mistake, the league can slap any penalty it sees fit. Ask TB12 about being suspended for four games because the commissioner felt like it.

To set an example, political culture and all.
But if the legal system treats it as a mistake then what does the league gain by making an example of him. It's not like there's more than a passive action or any history that could imply a different intent. Have any of the other off the field "examples" included only passive circumstances?

Good point. It's difficult to understand what the NFL will determine as 'passive'.

Deshaun Watson and his 20 charges of abuse by "massage" therapists?

Lamar Hunt's Hotel Hooker?

I think this article might have some bearing on how serious the handgun problem is. I think Traveler's culture button might have a lot to do with how the league will handle anything.

I would really like some opinions. I have to buy them today.
