Looking at the Bruins cap situation, I am now hoping that Jarmo throws a 3/4m offer sheet at Swayman as revenge for fucking around on the Gavrikov deal.

They can't possibly match even that unless they trade Ullmark - and he has a 15 team no list.

Of their 14 players signed past this season, 7 of them have some sort of move protection.

I don't think Swayman makes it through RFA season without an offer sheet unless the B's do some clearing and sign him before.

Just in their division Buffalo, Ottawa and Detroit could all use him and all still have their second rounders.

I think Ottawa is pretty high on former Medicine Hat Tiger Mads Sogaard, but I can certainly see Buffalo and Detroit being interested.

my breakdown from the series thread
-----------------------

this may have been the last kick at the can for the Bruins

$4.5 Million in bonus overages for next season (from bonuses on Bergeron/Krejci +35 contracts)

$38 million in 7 signed forwards
$27 million in 6 d-men
$5 million in 1 goalie
$1.9 million in buried cap hit
---------
$76.4 million out of an expected cap of $83.5MM
leaves about $7million for 9 players left to fill out the roster.

too bad GM's don't poach RFA's, as Swayman would be a nice target as well

in the next two drafts, they have no 1st's, no 2nd's, and one 3rd

Who knows what'll happen with the Sens re ownership etc. but they kinda have to make the playoffs next season and going with a tandem of rookie + 31 year old Anton Forsberg coming off an injury-plagued year would be quite the gamble.

Yet again.... Different year... Same Shit!

WHY can't they actually get over this crap?!?!

I had a terrible feeling once they clinched and had that record. You knew they were doomed and sure enough they were

Let me have it you non Bruins fans
FLA is a year removed from being the top team in the East...

I know that I missed some stuff, but I'm not going to lower my ignore list to find out what exactly.
Nothing too interesting. Some goof trying to get my attention then getting upset when I gave it to him. He tagged me again last night trying to get me to notice him.

I'm just trying to include you man. It's part of the nicer, more friendly Kenny!!

I am still having trouble getting past those comments you made about the Mennonites. Not cool.
