Yet again.... Different year... Same Shit!

WHY can't they actually get over this crap?!?!

I had a terrible feeling once they clinched and had that record. You knew they were doomed and sure enough they were

Let me have it you non Bruins fans

Always good to see Marchand crying, but a tough ending for a classy, great like Bergeron

Yeah the Bruins did him dirty... I just don't get why they kick ass during the regular season and then just lay a fing egg. They do better when they "suck" in regular season

It's that all time question for a fan. Looking back, is it better or worse to have had a regular season like that when you go out in the first round.

They do this every year.. It's frustrating as fuck! Like you said, having the best record ever and then doing what they did......

It looked to me like the Panthers took the Bruins out of the style of game that Boston likes to play. Florida is free-wheeling and they have some good speed on that team and it caused Boston to turn the puck over and kept them off-balance. Also, the MVP of that series was Montour, he scored some timely goals and really kick-started the Florida offense with the way he rushed the puck off-ice.

Lastly, Ullmark just forget how to play goal in this series for Boston, it happens and it's tough to explain.

I will beat this dead horse way into the ground. :D

Also, the Panthers did a great job shielding Gudas and Staal from getting exposed on the blue line.

I thought it was ridiculous breaking away from the goalie rotation that worked so well all year, having Ullmark start 6 games in a row after only making 48 starts in the regular season (his first year with 40+ starts). Ullmark looked fine in the first four games, but I don't think it's a stretch to say he was gassed in games 5 and 6. Felt like they did a crappy job keeping the puck out of their own defensive zone as well.

It may be difficult right now but I'd try to focus on the positive. My favorite team was supposed to be awful and were, whereas the Bruins fans got to see a fantastic regular season and 7 whole playoff games. Pretty great year!

I know it pains you to bring up his name ... but he started all that shit against the B's

/Forsling was surprisingly dirty as f ... THANK YOU JIM!

Sam Bennett was pretty good in the shit disturbing department as well. I will say this, at least Tkackuk was up front about his desire to leave Calgary unlike a certain other person.

Bruins are gonna have to do some dumping to get cap space and assets but they have stuff other teams want and they have an incredibly talented management group. They also have one of the league's best blue lines and a decent prospect pool with Lysell and Poitras maybe able to make the leap up front in the next year or two.

I know it seems like Bergeron's done but people thought that last season and he came back. He's still playing close to his best and if his body isn't destroyed wouldn't shock me in the least if he says "that's not how I want to go out".

I'm just not at all convinced the B's are about to give way. I find TB to be in a much shittier position going forward than Boston with Hedman entering his mid-30s and Vasilevsky looking a little ordinary this season and post-season and way less cap maneuverability.

That was some game last night. Once the Bruins took the 3-2 lead I thought they'd pull it off. Giving up the goal with under a minute and losing in OT was very Rangers like.
