Smart ass pilot....
Pilot asks if crying baby on plane is Sidney Crosby
Right or wrong, Sidney Crosby is perceived as a crybaby by fans across the NHL. Some begrudgingly acknowledge his tremendous skill but bemoan his pleas to the referees.
The reputation hits so hard even pilots are making wisecracks about Crosby. A Jet Blue pilot flying media members (and others) from Pittsburgh to Boston on Tuesday morning after the Bruins took a 2-0 series lead over the Penguins on Monday night decided to try his attempt at humor over the loudspeaker.
Nothing like a little salt in the wound. The Bruins won the first two games in Pittsburgh by a combined score of 9-1.
A couple of tweets in the story.......

I'll admit that I laughed. Then again, I spend a lot of time on airplanes with crying babies and staff who seem terribly inconvenienced by the fact that I'm helping them have a job by buying a ticket, so the fact that there's a pilot with a sense of humor is nice to know.
Not to pile on, but look what I found this morning:

A little story about me.. when I was 3 yrs old my folks enrolled me a local soccer club called tiny kickers. It was basic teaching. Towards the end of the 'season' we began to play scrimmage games. It seriously only took me less than one half to realize that everyone follows the ball, so if I just found open space near the ball, it would eventually, with a luck, pop out on my side where I would be free to attack the goal.
The Pens are following the puck and the bruins are finding the open ice. I feel bad for Voukon, that man is getting NO help. (Fleury can not stop a puck).
ON the first goal, 0-0... why is Letang pinching down deep? He reminds me of Gogo (JeffSLy should remember this game, turned him from a rangers fan to a bruins fan)... up 4-1 in 3rd and Gogo continues to pinch. It makes no sense, Orpik called him out. Coach DB needs to take control of this team. Letang (a little punk I called him last round) thinks he a forward, and our forwards think just skating back into the zone watching the puck is good enough. Give the Bruins credit as well of course.
If the Pens score first in game 3, they have a chance... if the Bruins score first... forget about it. Pens will lose focus and everyone will resort to offense offense offense... instead of puck possession puck possession puck possession (which typically starts in your own end).
Voukon should get the start... at least he can stop a puck.
Yeah, WTF has happened to Letang? You're right in saying he seems to be out of position half the time and does pinch when he shouldn't (reminds me of a few Sabres Defense men) Reading a lot of this thread most Pens fans seem to feel the same way. Is there another option as far as bringing someone in off the bench or even playing with five d men?
Also agree that Voukon should get the start MAF is not the answer to their problems.

Nope.
Rumour is that Tugnutt is getting the call.
No love for Barasso?
People questioning the Pens choosing to trade up and take MAF with the first overall pick. He was the top rated goalie and the Pens had shit options for goal the year before...Jean-Sebatien Aubin, Sebastien Caron and Johan Hedberg.
They finished 28 out 30 in GA the year before. Only one other goalie was chosen in the first 81 picks of that draft. He was good enough for B2B cup finals appearances while winning one.
When you're in need of a goalie and have a chance to take who was thought to be a franchise goalie, you pull the trigger.
