That's going a bit too far.

STARTING or instigating a fight rates stiffer punishment than participation in one, IMO.

I think you have to take drastic actions in order to address this issue. Best way to do this is to make them feel it in their wallets. Once you take the money out of fighting you will eventually phase it out of the game.

It's not actually the money so much as most "enforcers" are very marginal players anyway, so if you penalize them more often than the better players coaches and GMs will be more likely to cut them and save their salaries.

In effect your motivating the "enforcers" to improve their non-fighting, HOCKEY abilities.

Sydney Essiason is dating Matt Martin. She's Boomer Essiason's daughter. It's a big deal in a way because Boomer is a HUGE Rangers fan.

To those Bruins fans who were hoping for some fights, the Islanders weren't going to play that game. Eric Boulton wasn't in the lineup. There's really no point for the smaller Islanders to get physical with the much bigger Bruins. John Tavares proved once again he's a SUPERSTAR!!
