You said "if fighting was part of hockey it should be at all levels" I just listed several things that are not universal to show you different leagues different rules.

Never said all levels. Just said it should translate to the amateur levels. It doesn't at all. Most people who play hockey enjoy it just find without fighting. Not so with body checking & slap shots which are allowed in the vast majority of the leagues going down to pee wee. You're comparing apples with meth here.

Look NHL rules do not allow fighting just like they do not allow tripping you are just upset that the penalty is not enough. Too me 5 for fighting is just fine. A good fight is exciting and can change the momentum of a game.

They have penalties for a lot of stuff in hockey, is tripping, and holding not part of the game? They get penalized too.

Different sport. Why does hockey have goaltending but it is against the rules in basketball or cocaine ball.
