No but if it's truly a part of the game it should translate to the amateur level as well.

Well I have played hockey for over 30 years.I still don't see your point. I never played in the NHL. There is fighting in the NHL and like it or not it does change momentum sometimes.

Not really and that is a foolish thought. Fighting in Pro hockey has been a part of the game since it began. In any case I am done with this argument. I am just sick of this idiot Brahamisan or w/e always crying about fighting in every GNT.

The Bruins intimidate which can equal fighting and out physical other teams. When they dont they play like they are now. Which is losing.

Well I'm not exactly fond of people who think fighting is anything more than an interruption in the action.

That's all it really is,an INTERRUPTION! Of the totally unnecessary variety!

Come to think of it some leagues do not allow slap shots so those should go too.

Checking is allowed in far more leagues than fighting is. Also, there's no 5:00 major for checking in the NHL.

Some leagues don't but most do. Some leagues allow you to bring beer to the games, I could play the slippery slope argument as well. Let's stop being silly.

You said "if fighting was part of hockey it should be at all levels" I just listed several things that are not universal to show you different leagues different rules.
