Fucking Piece of Shit, Thorton.
Oh I agree and I know as Pens fans we will hear the crap about the past with Matt Cooke...but it is stupid for any player on any team to do this.
No comment on Neal kneeing Marchand in the head while he was prone on the ice?
Since it's on NHL Network, and I don't get NHL Network, but because NHL Network counts as a national broadcast, I can't watch it on Gamecenter.
This is stupid.
Why in there no comment from Pens fans on Neal kneeing Marchand in the head while he was prone on the ice which is what caused the whole thing?
Not very bright....
Oh so Thornton's is a shit ass move but Neal only fits the not very bright category. That's awesome. You know what kind of injury could have come from that right?

I had no idea that had happened until the penalty was announced. Now that I see it, I'm surprised he didn't get more than he did. Stupid, dirty, and unnecessary.
But if that's what started the whole thing, why did Thornton go after Orpik? And how can you even remotely imply that it justifies it? (I know you didn't say it directly, but saying Neal caused the whole thing does suggest that point.)

Feel free to quote where I say it justifies anything? You're all up in arms about Thornton yet Neal targeting a players head who is down on the ice with his knee is just a "meh". At least Orpik was on his feet when Thornton went after him. what he did after he went down was wrong but no worse than what Neal did
Thornton gets maybe a game. Everyone knows the Boston organization is notorious for blowing the refs and Bettman.
