It's only been two months since the other cases were settled. These things can often take a couple years. Might have been looking for a particular settlement that never materialized and now figured move ahead before he comes back. That would have been more interesting timing (waiting until he came back) IMO. At this point I don't see how you can question anyone who comes forward. It's not like this makes #3. It's like #30!!!

The lawsuit was filed by a Jane Doe in Harris County, Texas. It alleges that Watson found a massage therapist via Instagram in Dec. 2020 then pressured her into performing oral sex. That, of course, is similar to nearly every other accusation Watson has faced. Watson has settled with 24 of his accusers but now has two unresolved suits. The new accuser is not working with lawyer Tony Buzbee, who has represented all 25 of Watson's other accusers. Watson is just now halfway through his 11-game suspension. It is unclear what the NFL's plan was, if any, should he face new accusations after settling with the league. A depressing and sordid situation remains so.
