Broncos vs Raiders Game Thread

I think the defense has been all right. One scoring play was a mental mistake and the other was a good bit of trickery. Sometimes you gotta tip your cap, even to a hated rival. That was well designed and executed. I've also been impressed with Pryor. If the Raiders stock up on talent to build around him, they will improve. For now they are simply outmatched by a better team.

Of course, there's still a full quarter to play. I wouldn't mind seeing the offense crack 40 again just to pay back the Manning fumble and the trick play.

All Im saying next week with Vick, Jackson, and mccoy the defense will have to be alot better. Guys are way to wide open this half.

Yeah defense other than a few plays has been good. Not too upset on that last drive. Plus really missing three key starters right now

The pass rush has been a nod to Pryor's ability to scramble. They've contained him well, and they've put a stop to the Raiders ground game, which was #1 coming in. The fact the Raiders have completed some passes is not surprising to me. I'd rather they didn't, but without the option or the run, it's all they've got.

Also worth noting: the Raiders came in with the 7th ranked run defense, allowing only 87 yards on the ground. The Broncos have rung up over 140 and just punched in a TD, courtesy of Hillman. Not too shabby.

The defense is good but still missing some pieces. Bailey and Miller will be a breath of fresh air when they return from injury/suspension. Even missing their two best defensive players they have been solid. Good things ahead for this team.

Well good decisive win. Not liking the couple of turnovers as against actual good teams that could be what decides the game but other than turnovers I think I only saw one drive the Raiders actually looked good on defense. Manning and this offense is clicking bit time and it was good to see the run game just take over in the 2nd half.

Have to say other than the one sack he gave up Clark looked really good against a pretty good pass rusher in Houston. Broncos helped him some but for the most part left him out on an island. This was definitely the best game our OL has had. Just dominated from beginning to end.
