Who knows, but I have to say, it's very unlikely Elway loses that ball in the same situation. I could definitely see him jumping on that as fast as he could.

Oh I totally agree with you..Elway was a different player though than Peyton Manning is..you would never see Peyton in an Elway-esque helicopter you tube video either. And Elway did that later in his career too...AINT gonna happen in any Peyton Manning career. Thankfully, I think Manning is well aware of his limitations.

All around a lousy outing today by our Broncos. Right now it's 35-19, and I think that speaks to the disparity in talent between these two teams. The level of play this team has shown today, mistakes, turnovers, etc will usually get you beat and badly. And the Broncos still have plenty of opportunities to blow this one, but I'm hoping the defense will have woken up. Their last two series have been better.

LOL, I love it. 35-19 win being perceived as a "lousy outing". Our expectations sure have increased a bit since Tebow, haven't they? If that exact same game transpired and Tebow was the QB and not Manning there would probably be little talk about the defense only giving up 13 points.

No offense. I just find it crazy that we are 6-0 and people are disappointed somehow.

Elway didn't have 4 neck surgeries. I don't want Manning anywhere near a pile-up for a fumble. I cringed on the pick 6 when he tried to make a hit on Posluzny. He goes down and the season is over.

Don't get me wrong, I am not disappointed in the overall body of work. But offensively the team made some mistakes against the Jags we usually don't see. That's disappointing, even if it's realistic to expect a team to make mistakes. Even a good team. Normally a three turnover day is a harbinger of doom for a team. The Broncos are a good enough team and the Jaguars a bad enough team the Broncos still won by 16, and that's saying something.

Agreed and i think the Offensive mistakes yesterday were an anomaly. We played down to our opponent, regardless of what the players said to the media all week.

I will repeat myself. The only team that can beat the Broncos is the Broncos.

I agree with all of this. They played down and got a nice little reminder they can be beat if they don't play their game. But at this point in the season, on any given week if the Broncos bring their best game and their opponents do as well, the Broncos win every time.

That is not a prediction for a perfect season. It is just a statement that the Broncos are better than any other team in the game right now. Of course we see upsets every week, so we know good teams can be beat. But if the Broncos don't beat themselves, it is going to be pretty hard for anyone else to do it.

I totally agree. Manning shouldn't even be attempting to make a tackle after an interception, or diving into the lines for a loose ball. I'd rather give up the turnover than risk an injury to Manning.

Along with what Morph and iknowfootball said, the Broncos were flat, turned the ball over 3 times and punted 3 times, yet they still scored 35 points. How many other teams in the league would gladly take that? Shoot, the Chiefs haven't even scored 35 in a game all season!
