Must have been Bluffman then.
Spencer is a very good return man, but he lost the 2018 Grey Cup for the CFL championship for Ottawa by fumbling a return - costing his team the championship.
i mean, if you want to hold that over his head, ok.
How one performs when the pressure is on - is relevant - is it not?
I think Rick Upchurch was the last one we had that was worth a damn...
Allen finished the Preseason with 431 yards, 0 TD's and 3 INT's.
Hogan finished the Preseason with 311 yards, 2 TD's, 3 INT's.
Not exactly sure how Allen is so much better than Hogan that he's some tremendous upgrade.
Hell we would've been better off Sloter, he has the same regular season experience as Allen but at least he actually looked good in Preseason.
Hogan about killed several of our WR's into getting blew up.
So thats gonna happen every time he's in a high-pressure situation in the NFL?
I remember when John Elway couldnt get it done in the Superbowl. Then, he could. Good thing the Broncos kept him around, huh?
Fact is, returning punts and kicks is an art unto itself, most skill position guys are terrible at it. If you have someone who can average over 12-15 yds per punt return, you've got more than most
The Broncos have never had a player by the name of “Trinity Holiday”
One fumble doesn’t bother me. But multiple fumbles like Trindon Holliday are extremely irritating and untrusting.
If Spencer gains our trust then he is surely an upgrade over Cracraft as a returner.
How can these players play 3-4 years of college and come into the NFL and tear tendons by just falling down. Crazy .
Yeah but that was not my point. I'm sure he tripped and fell multiple times in college and wasn't out for 8 weeks.People tear tendons in college too.
Yes flexibility will keep players more healthy and have longer careers.Without any qualifications of any kind remotely connected to this subject - I would say - it is indicative of not being properly stretched out - that causes muscle tears. I think diet might also be involved. The Broncos switched to the new trainer a couple of years ago and now getting stronger efforts are out of proportion to maintaining elasticity in the muscle groups.
