I found all of our picks this morning, and thought it was worth sharing as we are closing in on the Draft.
» Round 1: No. 10 overall
» Round 2: No. 41
» Round 3: No. 71
» Round 4: No. 125 (from Texans)
» Round 5: Nos. 148, 156 (from Vikings)
» Round 6: No. 182
» Round 7: No. 237 (from Texans)

Let the mock draft craziness begin.

We may be looking at a young QB next year if Chad Kelly doesn't step up.

I just realized that this thread will be hitting the one year mark soon. I chuckled at this.

I suspect Denver may go CB next year or a stud ILber.

Top free agents signed and top draft need left

Good work me

Chris Simms on draft picks and there flaws not just fluff I just glanced but It seems to deeper than most in what is going on in draft analysis.

I will probably watch all these top 5 position Pieces he has and if there is more because I have no clue this year.

If teams start to jockey up in the top 10 to position themselves for QBs - like seems to happen in most drafts (but maybe not this one) - everyone who gets in the top 10 to pick a QB leaves another quality player available when the Broncos pick.

Or, it may be that the QBs - due to being an unimpressive lot - don't get picked in the top 10 - and some team decides it is reasonable to trade up for the Broncos 10 pick. - I'd take that deal and stock up with what I could get.

Drew Lock coming into Dove Valley for two days next week (April 6-7). Just part of the normal due diligence on QB's?

Elway keeps a book on them as they come into the league. You never know when you might get a 2nd shot at one of these guys.

Yeah, and I know they're meeting with Haskins, Murray and Jones too. Seems like only Lock is coming into Dove Valley for two days though. Just thought it was interesting.

Seems Elway drafts the defenders he’d least want to play against. And he’s done a decent job there.

So maybe we should pick the QB that Fangio would least want to coach against defensively.....

:agree:

I do believe it is sometimes easier to find the guy you most don't want to play against because that is what you have spent your time studying. Do you think Elway was studying QBs when he was a player or defenses more? That is obvious. Same with Fangio, he studies offenses and offensive players more then defensive. I think he can probably give 5 things he hates to face in a QB as fast or faster then 5 things he loves in a defensive tackle.

The only QB I’d be happy with us taking if he fell to #10 would be Haskins. Everyone else I’d rather wait until the 3rd or later or next year.

I’m hoping Denver does DL or LB at 10. Now if we trade down I’d be more open to taking a TE or OL but I’d still prefer a LB or DL. Like if we can trade down to around 14 but still pick up Devin Bush I’m all for it.

If we still had an older ILB that can cover then maybe a 6th would be fine.

After seeing this and doing some homwork* I am more than okay with Lock at #10

I for some reason was thinking* he was in the Sooners conference don't ask me why Dag what a mind change that is. SEC is full of Nfl CB's
