He is definitely getting to the point of having the benefit of the doubt. Even on guys who do very little the 1st 2 years. It is why I still believe that Latimer could be something. I know not every draft pick will work out but we have seen a great progression in ability as they go through that 1st contract.

My dark horse choice Jonathan Bullard of Florida. He looks like a perfect fit to replace Malik. He is a 1-gap style DT/DE for Florida and was highly productive.

That is the point this daft will produce a 3-4 DE with similar qualities as Jackson at 31 I am sure of it with production .

Would I want Nkemdiche yes but not at #31 .... not me ... not enough production ..

I view as a project .. I have no clue as to were he will be took but someone will over pay for him ...

Nkemdiche IMO needs a couple years . With a player like Ware really working on his mindset

I was big on Nkemdiche about 3 weeks ago and then the Combine happened. Just listening to him talk I just don't think he is going to give the effort you want and need from the position. That work ethic is either something you have or don't. Hard to all of a sudden just flip a switch and decide you want to work hard.

Yeah I agree. The talent is definetly there but not worth the red flag tag.

Elway is known for taking guys with red flags but never guys with red flags in the area of work ethic. That is something that he really looks for in a player from what I have seen.

That's what I meant. The guy can have a weed beef compared to a " effort " tag and Elway will pull plug.

YUP- Agree. Bullard makes a lot of sense.

What up with Jihad Ward, DT, Illinois . Should be there round 2-4 rounds. Great athletic ability.

Ward is a best I don't see him being there anytime past round 2 though. Unless he does something stupid. To me he is a late 1, early rd 2 guy. Could fall a bit due to the depth of the DL class, but if he falls past round 2 I will be surprised unless he has some character flaw which I have been told he does not. But a lot can happen from now until draft time.

Ward and Bullard are very high on my list.

Don't call me a Gators homer but been a huge Bullard fan since his FR year. Ward has been very productive since his SOPH year, runs well and has a good motor for a tall guy.

Also, have fallen in love with Vernon Butler and Chris Jones.

Not so much Andrew Billings.

Like Kenny Clark a bit more then I did at first but not like Butler and Jones.

A'Shawn Robinson is ok, but doesn't get the penetration a Butler or Chris Jones do.

Bullard might be the best DE vs the run.

Question is if he fits in a 3-4 which I think he does. He started off as a DT at UF... A lot of people question him in a 3-4. I do not. He sorta reminds me of Derek Wolfe coming out. Only I am higher on him.
