Burfict isn't playing nice with others:

Vontaze Burfict Is Back To Committing Post-Play Misdemeanors

He needs to stop the bush league shit..... That's the type of crap he got caught up in when he was in college.

Baltimore and Pittsburgh do this to teams all the time, just not always as obvious as Burfict's was. I can't see any other defense in the league not taking some cheap shots at players when they have a chance especially when it is hard to be seen, like at the bottom of piles, etc.

It isn't like he picked him up by the leg and whacked him on the ground like Hulk did to Loki. It was a little extra twist, and who knows how much of that was partial momentum as well. He just never let go of the leg or loosened his grip of the leg and when you hold that tight and have a 245 body rolling around after diving for a tackle, it could have been partial momentum and partial extra curricular.

He did it on purpose. If a player from another team did this to AJ or Gio we would all be livid as hell.

Tez is dirty. He's been dirty since he's been in college. I love the dude, but this is absolutely part of his game.... The part of him that is nuts might be why he plays so well.

Like Lawrence Taylor and Dick Butkus?

"Partial momentum"

You're a disgusting homer.

Those antics are a disgrace to the game. He should be suspended.

it's part of football.

he's not the only player who's following through aggressively. But, he's got a lot of eyes on him.

If he would have hurt Newton, I would agree. However, he does that stuff in every single game that makes the offensive player try to retaliate against him and get flagged for PF calls. Happened like twice last year in that final game of the season with Ray Rice. Burfict is always saying or doing something a little extra under the radar of the refs to get offensive players pissed off at him. He does his thing, and then when an offensive players strikes back, he goes into acting mode and falls down from a little shove to draw attention.

He just got caught on camera this time so all of a sudden people are up in arms. He does this all the time. When the defense is playing great it gets overlooked, but when he is doing stuff like this, getting caught on film and they are sucking right now, well, it is magnified.

Pittsburgh, Baltimore, old Oakland defenses, old Giants teams with Lawrence Taylor, etc. They all have players that do similar stuff in several games during the year, just typically they do not get caught. If he hurt Newton, yeah he should be punished, but he didn't hurt him and it did force Newton to kick him in the head following the twist. So it did cause a retaliation, just didn't result in a penalty like Burfict wanted.

So what if I am a disgusting homer?

I'm glad you agree your opinion should be taken with a grain of salt.

I think my opinion is greater than yours. After all, I am a fan, and you are a hater. Your Cardinals are doing well though, I will give you that.

I don't know why you bother. It's really not worth your time.

The value of an opinion comes from objectivity. Something you admittedly don't have.

Interestingly, my "hate" has been correct.

I know, it's difficult to handle.

Your hate? Your hate has led us to a 3-1-1 record and first place in the division up to this point.

Yeah, your hate has been warranted. Sit down, you're pathetic and ridiculous hater.

Your boy Palmer and your Cardinals are doing well though. I think I would be more of a Cardinals fan if you weren't such a fan.

I have Weeks 5 and 6 marked off on my calendar. Week 5 because the Pats are a perennial playoff team and it's a game on the road. Week 6 because of the Panthers front 7.

Unless the defense can play at this rate for the entire season and into the playoffs, we will need more than a game manager to win in the playoffs.

Oops.

I can't help that you liken being correct to "hate". But I do agree with you that my "hate" has been warranted. Thanks.

I think it's a stretch to blame Dalton for the Panthers loss. The guy played without his top two receivers and his defense gave up 37 points. When the pressure was highest (when we were down or tied) he led his team on long scoring drives and one drive that should have been a score. He made one bad decision the entire game -- He shouldn't have thrown that long third down pass to Gresham. Interestingly, that didn't cost us as their kicker missed. His other INT wasn't a bad decision - It was executed poorly.

If you want to blame a unit for the loss, I think the blame goes to the defense.
