All right, let's do this another way. Why don't you give me the giant list of black politicians that launched their political career from Washington state or the giant list of minority politicians who returned home out of tthe clear blue, after 20 year absence, and suddenly began a political career.

Is there a bigger cry baby in football than Bobby Wagner? Seriously never seen someone so salty after a teammate got paid

Mmm didn't see anything wrong with what he's said. Obviously he thinks this impacts his chances of a extension, maybe it does, but I think the Seahawks will find a way to get that done soon. Most likely cut a older vet or two to do it.

I must be missing something here. I saw him say three words about the situation.

If youre talking about that subtle little tweet, then yes, there are MUCH bigger crybabies in football.

I'd say Cutler and Cam, never won anything and Kaep isnt far behind. Wilson has been to 3 NFCG and 2 SB's in his first 3 years. Him and Brady are the only QB's in NFL histroy that have over a .700 winning record. Wilson played great in the SB vs Denver 0 t/o's and 127 QB rating and he was 1 play away from winning his second

Seattle's defense is more responsible for their success not Wilson

Have you watched him play? He made every 3rd down play vs Denver before the game got out of hand, and that made that beautiful throw to Kearse vs GB to comeback and win that game. Plus he gets big yards scrambling if his 1st , 2nd or 3rd options aren't open. I would love him on NE once Brady retires, but thats not happening. This kid has thrown less int in 3 years including playoffs than Luck or Manning did there first year

I'm not saying Wilson isn't a good QB, he's damn good, but he doesn't deserve the money he's getting. A contract worth 65 million over 4 years with 40 million guaranteed is more like it.

With the contract he's getting he better win another superbowl and or go deep in the playoffs every year.

What QB is worth over 20 mill? a few of those 20+ plus guys have done something in past but not lately, or year in and year out

Rodgers and Brady are the only ones worth over 20 million IMO but in today's NFL some owners will pay that to QB's who aren't worth every penny on the field but they fill the seats each and every sunday and make the team money in mega merchandise

I can't argue with that, but franchise QB's are tough to come by these days, lot of junk qb's starting these days. Look at the fiasco in Buffalo , Cleveland,Philly, Minny( not sold) etc to name a few. Some QB's make 20 mill a year for 15-20 years and bring home only 1 Lombardi

yep and there is another one who came to mind that is still playing, Give you 2 clues, he threw 3td/7int in playoffs on his 1 SB win and Wilson had a 50 point better QBR in SB than him

Seattle's front office and Wilson haggled over this for months. The amount I posted was close to Seattle's original offer, Only after Wilson quietly threatened to quit football and go to MLB did a deal finally get done. So.. Seattle felt it was in their best interest to Pay Wilson and secure a franchise QB for their success in the future. Smart move to be sure but is it too much? I think it is.
