Some people just don't recognize a great player when they see one. They need high draft expectations, 10+ years of hindsight, that player to play on a shitty team and numerous other things, when it's really just simpler to watch the damn games and see what a player is capable of.

In '83 when you were eight, I was in my second year of university. I've watched every season since the start. So yep, I know what a Stouffer is, just like I know what a Gelbaugh is.

I've seen a whole lot of shvtty QB play over the decades.

Makes me appreciate Wilson's intangibles a whole lot.

It makes me laugh about the height too, since by that metric, we should have had the best QB in NFL history in Dan McGwire.
