Why a fan of a QB that hasn't sniffed a CCG Nm a SB cant knock a QB that has been to 3 CCG and 2 SB's in 3 years? I guess I can because Brady has been to 9 AFCG and 6 SB's but wouldn't because Wilson is a special QB. I watched him at NC St and Whisky. He would have beaten all of Rivers records if he stayed his last year. He also threw over 20 more Td's tha Luck did in colelge so I know the kid can chuck it , need be. He doesn't care about stats and his Int are crazy low

Very well put! Let me add he tied Mannings rookie TD passes and passed Rothisberger's most victories after 3 seasons in. Those are great accomplishments and I hope he maintains his play at high level like Brady has (minus that one injuried season) consistantly. Good luck this season and hope to a SB rematch.

I'd say Cutler and Cam, never won anything and Kaep isnt far behind. Wilson has been to 3 NFCG and 2 SB's in his first 3 years. Him and Brady are the only QB's in NFL histroy that have over a .700 winning record. Wilson played great in the SB vs Denver 0 t/o's and 127 QB rating and he was 1 play away from winning his second

Alright after reading this whole thread there is one thing I want to clear up, which has been posted in multiply
pages. :2cents: After all its important to keep facts about Wilson correct, for we all know this will eventually become a Wilson vs Luck debate as required by all Wilson threads on sportshoopla.:dhd: (note not attacking sonnyblack65, just want to set the record straight) Which is.....

Wilson HAS NOT GONE TO 3 NFC Championship GAMES.

Year Three-SuperBowl loss Pats
Year two-SuperBowl win DEN
Year one- Loss to ALt

First year they entered the playoffs as a wild card team and beat Washington. (RG3 leg breaks in two in the fourth)

Than they played Alt and came back from 20 down at half to take the lead before a Pete timeout as the games ended where ALt missed the game winning field was allowed to kick again. (Was the worst call of his career as Seattle head coach till this years Superbowl)

Alt wins and played 49ners where at the last sec the 49ners won to go to the Superbowl and lost to the ravens. And that's Wilson first three years, now if you believe he will make it this year than it would 3NFC champ games. And I can get behind that!! :heh: K, now this thread can go on to become the how Luck is better than Wilson thread. Thank you for your time.

It begins. I told u guys. There goes 1 cut. Many more coming in the next year or so.
Tony McDaniel released by Seattle Seahawks
Look nostradumbass, who has ever said there wouldn't be casualties? Show me. You predicted the obvious. Congrats? :noidea: lol

I think most of us are shocked Mebane is still on the team given his massive salary. Most of us have been sure he was going to be one of those casualties, but as of yet he's still here. Still wouldn't be shocked if he was gone before the season starts.

Sad that SF fans are left with nothing but hope that cap casualties bring their division rivals back down to earth because their team certainly can't do it on the field anymore.

Like many players on the Hawks defense, McDaniel was a trash heap guy that the Hawks got the most out of. But go ahead and cream your pants at the fact that the Hawks lost an unessential piece in order to keep an essential piece.

This sounds a bit homerism, granted I don't know much about McDaniel, but the link provided did say he was a starter. His release probably hurts more than your letting on.

The Seahawks had a rotation of 4 guys last year on the interior. Williams, Mebane, McDaniel, and Hill. Mebane went down for the season half way through and Hill went down in Game 12. That hurt our depth and made us rely on Williams and McDaniel far more. But even with a lot more snaps, McDaniel didn't really do much more than lane stuff.

Mebane is the anchor on our defensive line and he was hurt last year. Jordan Hill was a monster in his short time playing before he got hurt.

McDaniel was a productive and valuable starter, but when healthy Mebane far and away the better player and Hill given his age and potential is the more viable option moving forward.

Losing McDaniel hurts the depth because if Mebane goes down again we don't have a player like McDaniel to step up. But that is the nature of the business.

Seahawks are going to lose depth, aging vets, and young players who want more money. The key is to resign the core players and to hit on the draft to continue to replenish the depth

What lesson was I supposed to have learned? Because I can show you quotes where I've said all along that paying the crop of young talent we had over this run was going to create casualties and require the team to fill in depth guys with more trash heap projects and unproven young guys vs the veterans they were able to pay in those prior years.

Please, do tell us what lessons you have bestowed on us oh wise one.

Trolls are running out of reasons to cast gloom and doom on the Seahawks. McDaniels had more snaps than Mebane last year...obviously he is the better player. Time to push the panic button fellas.

Fair enough, like I said I don't know much about the guy.
