Quit checking me out.
12 out of 24 were from within 500 miles from campus.
Nebraska recruited 6 out of 21 from within 500 miles.
So you think Nebraska deserves help?

I don't, but you asked why it was done and that's your answer.
Oh that's right. I forgot, you believe everything out of Saban's mouth. He really must have evolved that method this past year to pull in a 5 star LB from..............Alabama and another 5 star LB from.............Alabama.
So you don't want to answer the question.
Don't matter, everybody knows the real answer. It is a shame that you feel you need to "protect" your recruiting territory and deny kids opportunities due to where they live.
It's not help, it's a method of recruiting that was within the rules. I haven't seen a good reason for it to be against the rules yet.So you think Nebraska deserves help?

I haven't looked up Michigan's, but I'd bet we don't even have but a couple within 500 miles from campus. We had 3 from Michigan (1 is a kicker) and 0 from Ohio.
3 from Michigan
2 from Indiana
1 from Colorado
1 from Pennsylvania
6 from Florida
6 from New Jersey
1 from Massechusetts
1 from Alabama
1 from Wisconsin
3 from California
1 from Tennessee
1 from Georgia
1 from Maryland
Hopefully we can get that national recruiting thing down.
"All our local recruits suck - you need to share" - Big10 fans.
"It is the Saban Method, he doesn't have any inherited advantages by being the top team in the SEC" - 420
Where do MOST of your recruits come from?
It's not about location, it's about the program.
Back to the crying response again? For a while there you were actually bringing something of substance. It was much more entertaining. It's not in the rules anymore and now you are crying about it.
Oh, there are lots of advantages for being the top team in the country.
I said logical.
You have absolutely no concern whatsoever for smaller schools and their recruiting budgets.

Even with camps Harbaugh only managed to take a 3 star that didn't get offers from Alabama or Auburn.
Maybe he needs a method other than making an ass of himself on twitter. But grats on stealing that Troy recruit!
And they are trying to protect those advantages by getting the camps banned.
