Yeah, I would certainly think that isn't a career ender. I watched that replay a few times and it definitely looks painful, but I would have never guessed that it was traumatic enough to break a rib badly enough to be shoved into his lung.

Pretty tough dude to get up and walk off the field. I would have lied there weeping while asking for a priest to administer my last rights....

I think the main reason B. Marsh's injury was so bad, is because he was planted. He did not budge upon contact. Lessened the absorption, I'm sure.

It sucked because the defenders knee went right in his back.

Its not the worry of the lung collapsing again, its the worry like Philly has with Foles with the collarbone, if the ribs have a weak point, there is a better chance they will split and puncture the lung again
