Brady After Pats Win: "Everyone Thinks We Suck"

Everyone keeps looking for reasons to say they are falling apart and its over. The reality is no other team in the AFC is able to man up and knock them out. The Chargers are more talented across the board but that doesn't matter. Regardless of how the Pats look during the year, until someone knocks them out in January they are the team. Outside of a couple of Peyton Manning teams and a couple of Ravens teams, no one has been able to do it last 10 plus years.

The Chiefs look great and have the home field but its hard for me to go against Brady and Belichick. They are the team until someone else proves it.

The Chiefs defensive strategy is pretty clear. Make sure their offense scores a bazillion points. It's tough to keep up with the Mahomes machine.

That's plan A.

Plan B is just hit Brady a zillion times with the passrush and hope the Patriots magically forget how to run the football.

he was fine yesterday. most of his throws were just dump off passes though... his RB's were doing most of the damage after the catch.

He'll be fine. He's still good enough to help them win games.

34 -44 for 343. If he dumps off 34 for 10 yards each next week, the Chiefs are in serious trouble.
You forget, he gets the ball to his receivers so they can get yards after the catch.

You also forget that Brady has 'never' been a down field passer. 86% of his passes have gone for 6 yeards or less but he somehow has 68,000 yards passing.

He was more than pretty good yesterday. And many think what you saw this year was more injury related. He may be dealing with some kind of MCL issue.

Hard to get a feel for where the Patriots are really at because they just completely outcoached the Chargers and they really didn't have to struggle and work hard for that win.

Gus Bradley trotted out that same Cover 3 defense that Brady has seen and beaten many times before including their past 2 SB wins. So the Chargers did exactly what the Pats expected and it showed because they carved it up from the 1st snap of the ball.

So this upcoming game will obviously be the best indication that if the Pats put it together once again for the playoffs because I can't say if they curb stomped a very poorly prepared and possibly fatigued Chargers team or if they were really that dominant of a team.
