Tom Brady after Pats' rout: 'Everyone thinks we suck'
The one upsmanship between salty Patriots and Chiefs players for the "nobody believed in us" bowl will be good.
Reading that as a sentence, it sounds like Brady was making fun of the media and not being serious.
By media, do we mean twitter?
Brady is Declining Noticeably
Related: These are the 1 and 2 seeds and are a combined 24-8 when not playing each other.
It's been a long time since the Pats have been able to play the underdog "woe is us" card. They are going to milk that puppy for all it's worth.
Still correct- Brady was playing at an otherworldly level for a long time. Now he is just pretty good.
He was more than pretty good yesterday. And many think what you saw this year was more injury related. He may be dealing with some kind of MCL issue.
he was fine yesterday. most of his throws were just dump off passes though... his RB's were doing most of the damage after the catch.
He'll be fine. He's still good enough to help them win games.
He has seen most every zone so many times, I am not sure any team running zone at its core will have a good time stopping him.
Unfortunately, even though the Chiefs play man, they're not exceptionally good against the pass.
it will be interesting to see how the chiefs defend the pats and their heavy run/short passing game. obviously, the chargers 7 DB strategy didn't work out very well ....
They are gonna need one of Berry/O'Daniel to be on the field a lot to cover the RB's. They've been quietly decent against the pass this season on the whole, but they have been awful against TE's and RB's through the air; but they've been much better when O'Daniel is in the lineup. Berry would be a big deal if he can go as well.
'everyone thinks we suck'
Tommy Boy needs some cheese w/ his whine.
Well...there are some rookies and free agent signings that haven't been able to play that card before.
At least while sitting at the big boy table.
Pretty sure most NFL QB's wished they sucked as bad as Brady.
There is a reason the Pats offense looks so easy. It's because Brady puts them in the right play and throws to the right spot. All those short throws were easy to make but the QB was a big reason why they were successful. And of course they are nearly always right on target allowing for max RAC.
Yeah, it's what the defense was giving him. Plus the Chargers were short of LBs so kicking the snot out of them on the LOS was going to work as well.
The Chiefs defensive strategy is pretty clear. Make sure their offense scores a bazillion points. It's tough to keep up with the Mahomes machine.
Separate names with a comma.
