No he wouldnt win 110 games. Look I know you guys are in love with 1985 still. But I'm sorry, get a new manager in there.

I agree, I always thought it was a red flag when the Yankees didn't hive him the job

That should have told you something, cause I'm sure they would have loved to hire him from a PR standpoint

2011 when everybody was talking about how good the Phillies rotation would be and Snoogins says that Boston's rotation that year would be the best ever.

LOL ... I took a lot of chit for everyone saying how great the phils rotation would be lmao ... BEST ROTATION EVER !!! (this was 2010 though)

Crazy thing is ... the phillies could still have the best 1 - 3 starters in baseball. Who saw Kyle Kendrick being this awesome. I sure as shit did not

Nunez was really heating up when he went down dammit!

I could do without Brennan boesch also

Can they really release Overbay when Tex returns?

No way, right?

Not a chance Overbay is DFA'd when Tex comes back. They don't have anyone else to play IB unless they plan on giving Jeter some time over there.

And that's another thing, who'd be dumb enough to take Nix out of SS right now?

The last thing the AL wanted was the Yankees to be in 1st place on May 13th. And thats with Lyle Overbay hitting in that lineup.

What was his era in the majors last year vp.. cherry pick much?

A pretty bad 4.50 over a tiny sample size

"Ignore the 5 ERA he had in AA last year over a large sample size. What was his ERA in the 3 starts he made at the end of last year in garbage time?"

Nope, HW isn't Scott Richmonding him at all..... :hellno:

Well also ... I drafted Matt Kemp. Thus ruining any chance they had

That guy is awful.

Andre Ethier is worse.

That team blows...but I'm sure they'd be awesome if Greinke hadn't been hurt.

The sam team dumb enough to tell the reigning gold glove at shortstop that he will have to lay third base so the team's current mediocre fielding shortstop can continue to play there?

Let's not pretend like the Fraudkees* think rationally when it comes to Jeter.

For me its the first season in a long time that a postseason appearance would make a successful season . Detroit would crush them, but that's a long way off

Speaking of .... I have a chance to get Braun in my one league

I get - Braun and Howie Kendrick (whatever)

I lose - Kemp and Matt Harvey

my pitching would be hurting bad until Cueto and Weaver get back

I dont really think I can afford to lose Harvey, but I am getting the best hitter in the NL.....
