Still no idea about this thing myself, yet. I just want to know what happened for real. If the investigation never actually yields any evidence/agency, I'll give NE the benefit of the doubt.

No matter what, I'm fine with Kraft and NFL/Goodell being at odds with each other if that is in fact the case. It's better for the game for them not to be so...fraternal.

They took air out of the balls. Half the teams in the league probably do something exactly like it. It should be a fine, not even that big of one and they should move on. I can't believe they're turning this into such a big deal.

If they didn't find the balls under inflatted why would they be bothering with an investigation? Godell's had a crap year an either way he loses (He either gets killed for covering it up or for not suspending someone for the S.B.) and the NFL doesn't need this before their big event. God knows the superbowl doesn't need the hype, everyone's watching anyway.

If you are trying to sell an underling of Godell manufacturing this and Godell letting him you're nuts.

Care to cite the rule that was broken. Make sure you list the section of the NFL Rules, Game Operations Manual, and NFL By-Laws.
