Still no idea about this thing myself, yet. I just want to know what happened for real. If the investigation never actually yields any evidence/agency, I'll give NE the benefit of the doubt.

No matter what, I'm fine with Kraft and NFL/Goodell being at odds with each other if that is in fact the case. It's better for the game for them not to be so...fraternal.

Does anyone truly think this will be a "fair and impartial" hearing/investigation and the "truth" will ever come out? I'm a Pats fans but I am not a naive one.

If they can't conclude the ball boy was that let the air out of the balls when he went to the 'bathroom,' then they should just do a simple experiment.

1. Take the same 11 balls that were found to be deflated and air them up to 12.5 psi at same temp as the locker room that day.
2. Place these balls in 39 F environment for the same time as the first half.
3. Remove balls and measure the pressure.
4. If the average change in air pressure + the standard devation of the balls is less than 2psi... guilty or if it is greater than or equal to 2psi-not guilty.

I am very confident you would find the former to be true.

If u deflate a ball in cold weather and rain, that makes it easier to catch. Everyone wants to chat about how far u can throw one. But I don't know the difference. Weird how the colts balls were full inflated.
