Deion was a self-centered asshole and glory hound.
John Rocker has been mentioned at least a couple of times.
Oh, come on. He was harmless.Deion was a self-centered asshole and glory hound.
Um.... Lance Armsrong?Ryan Braun is in a category all to himself. No other athlete has ever gone that far out of his way to try to ruin another man's life just so he could hide his own PED use.
Just to name a few of mine:
Albert Belle
Ryan Braun
Barry Bonds
Mike Piazza
Maury Wills
Milton Bradley
Darryl Strawberry (but i give him a bit of a pass because he was battling substance abuse problems)
AJ Pierzynski
Reggie Jackson
Notice Ty Cobb isn't on the list. Even though i hate the guy, I do admire his drive and passion to play the game, even if he was a little fixated on individual statistics versus his team play. I wish we had more players with his passion on the Phillies today.
Ty Cobb
barry bonds
Cap Anson (1st to reach 3,000 hits) was a total racist and absolutely refused to play exhibitions games vs teams with black players. He actually did a lot for the sport though. He also created spring training and many different things. His dad was the founder of the town I live near and a lot of the town is named "Anson".

Robby Alomar's only transgression throughout his baseball career was the spitting incident, and he's apologized profusely for that one lapse in judgment and been forgiven by Hirschbeck. Otherwise, he was a model citizen.
I can confirm this. My best friends family is from Pittsburgh, so he is a fan of all Pittsburgh teams. Barry Bonds was his favorite player until he met him, then it was absolute hate.
