Another great matchup between me and Nos. Nos has the two greatest pitchers of all time IMO, but I feel my offense would score more runs than anyone, so great matchup. Nos did a great job of finding offense, it's rightthere despite taking pitchers early . I think my underrated pitching edges it for me, I'd have to double check, but I'm pretty sure they had the lowest ERA on the Mock. Combined with offense, I barely edge Nos great team

UK in 7

My bad it was 550 at Center in 1915...

402 550 402 is a huge advantage IMO... :noidea:

Kinda the reason I had good hitters with speed on my bench.

this is mostly true... but you know that some players have high fly ball rates, some with high ground ball rates... don't you think the larger the stadium, the worse the players with high fly ball rates would be?? not saying they will be bad, but certainly there are better suitable places for them to play... If you weaken anyone then they might now be worse than a player with different skill sets...

Sure but again my bench was full of good hitters with some speed, I would have sat Banks and Reggie in Boston and played Kiki and Wills. The dimensions would hurt Manny, Griffey, McCovey and WLK's power guys just as much. I had Speaker and Rose 1,2... Numbers 1 and 2 all time in doubles. Bob Johnson is one of the most underrated players of all time IMO. It's not as if WLK had Cobb, Collins and Rickey on his team.

I am lost here... you say that we all voted using stadiums too much into account... And your proof is that we voted against you, a team that you too voted against....

and you are talking so highly about your bench, you only have one player with a career BA of over a 300...

I didn't vote against me when I played WLK, I voted against me in this game cuz I really like UK's lineup.

Again, i don't think the problem is the stadium... I think we have a very hard time analyzing pre integration players... We rely too much on name value... but the non named guys are very hard to analyze especially the dead ball players who did not hit homers, was it because of stadium or style of play, or were they just not good enough??
