Why is Hammer down so infatuated with the B1G? You can have James Franklin back if that is what u r upset about.

I think he secretly has a man crush on Meyer and a poster of Tebow over his bunk bed.

As a fan of a big ten team, I am comfortable saying that I don't give a rats ass about the educational rank of my team. I don't go to the stadium to cheer math.

But, I don't have to add the numbers together.
But you do have to do math to interpret the score and other important scoreboard information.

For example - is a field goal okay? Or do we need a TD? How much time can we let run off before calling a Time out? How many plays can we get off before the half ends?

Or - god forbid - How much vodka goes in this Bloody Mary?

Math is everywhere. We all use it every day.

If I add enough vodka to the bloody mary then I won't care about the rest.

I believe 2015-2016 is the final year of Nebraska not getting 100% split. Nebraska should get 90% payout this summer + share of B1G profits(if any). I could be off by a year.

I think
2011-2012 50%
2012-2013 60%
2013-2014 70%
2014-2015 80%
2015-2016 90% announced during Media Days late July 2016
2016-2017 100%

Rutgers & Maryland
2014-2015 50%
2015-2016 60% announced during Media Days late July 2016
2016-2017 70%
2017-2018 80% the year the new contracts kicks in
2018-2019 90%
2019-2020 100%

Or it could be
2011-2012 40%
2012-2013 50%
2013-2014 60%
2014-2015 70%
2015-2016 80% announced during Media Days late July 2016
2016-2017 90%

Just wait until these conference network deal begin to require schools to pay a media-rights tax in order to support the network . . .
