Those are some seriously strong meds he must be on. His success is directly tied to how well the defense plays this year. He could get a lot of 2nd half clock killing yards if they dont drop off much and the offense is as good as the reporters say it is. I see him possiblly putting up 900 again in a perfect scenario. Just not 1200 unless Abdullah gets hurt and he plays the whole game.

Bottom line is he does not control his own destiny. Good to see he does not see his injuries as an issue.

Nothing wrong with setting a unobtainable goal. I don't say that with malice. He will not get enough touches unless Ameer is hurt.

I honestly do not see him or Ameer reaching 1200 if both are healthy. With Ameer and Riddick being the 3rd down options most likely don't see Bell reaching 1200 total yards.

Just so some know I'm not hating on a Lions player. So don't protect him. I just see Ameer eventually getting the bulk of the work.

His goal may be a stretch based on past performance and perceived pecking order, but it's a pretty tough crowd when the only evidence how this year may play out is press conferences and OTA's and he still gets ripped. I hope he get's 1600 on the season leading into the playoffs. It'd be nice to see a homey help the homers here on SportsHoopla.

Someone needs to tell the Lions players on offense to just play and stop making predictions about what they are going to do. They should take a page from the only guy who could make a realistic prediction (CJ) and just work hard and keep their mouths shut.

Well I appear to be alone on this one but I think he will get 1000+. I think the line will be good and I think Bell is decent enough to run behind them, I think the offense will be good and Bell is decent enough to benefit from that.
