Seems like it's Seattle or Chicago for Jared. As long as it's short term and we don't spend too much, I actually like this. 11.5 sacks last year in arguably the worst defense in football. Still has a hell of a motor. Him and Houston immediately make this front seven better. Along with a healthy DJ Williams and Lance Briggs.

obviously no one would mind him in our uniform but I find it hard to imagine he'd take that much of a pay cut.

seatle cant afford to spend anymore than we can. they have some contracts to get in order, and after a SB win, they are always going to get into bidding wars with other teams. I think SF jacked up the price on bennet just to stick it to seatle.

Read he was talking to Denver also. I'd love to see him here . But just don't think it's going to happen.
HMMM Seattle, Denver, Chicago. Where can I get a ring and still get paid ? HMMM.

Agreed. I just get the feeling he's not headed here. My gut says Denver.

seattle released Chris Clemons.........?

I could be up for that.He could become cheap possibly.

I don`t know as if we are gonna sign any more bigger name players, but he could be a possibility.

Anyone?

Figured.

I never really expected this to happen. I still have hopes that we'll make another impact signing on D, but those hopes are dwindling.

LOL...I'm pretty sure there was one defense that was worse.
I doubt Allen would go to the Bears, he wants a ring.

#1 - I said "arguably"

#2 - The Vikings gave up 480 points, worst in all of the NFL last year (Lol... the Vikings gave up more points than the Bears!? Oh man, now that's hilarious). They were second to last, behind only the Cowboys in passing defense and total defense from a yardage standpoint. Definitely well within the "argument" for worst defense in the league.

#3 - Well, that probably has to do with why he's getting the hell out of Minnesota.

Thanks for dropping in, dickhead.
