Series not over with the dodgers having the edge in game 3.

And we don’t know who will throw game 4. Might be Eovaldi If he pitches again in game 3.

And then a kershaw sale game is guaranteed. This could very easily go back to Fenway.

I'm seeing a couple of smart guys in this thread!

Welp, I was wrong... went 6 and only gave up 2, which weren't crushed or anything. I am still not changing my attitude towards him but it does seem like he might, just might be turning a corner

Not by a long shot. LA will now have there how crowd and now the pitchers have to hit, so that takes any advantage the Red Sox had away. Also Bellinger, Muncy will be starting

If I told you he would go six innings and give up 2 runs for a win in WS Game #2, you would have been elated.

Personally, I don't like Price, but I'll take the results. With Sale being a shell of his former self, we needed Price to step up.

I hope we can find a way to hang onto Eeovaldi

David Price was huge again last night, ever Sox fan would have taken those 2 starts at the beginning of the series obviously. Joe Kelly has also been amazing and that too was a surprise.

Of course it's not over, Dodgers are now home with their rules. But all the Red Sox have to do is win 1 out of 3 and they go home up 3-2. I'll take my chances with that.

I dont like Price either but that was great last night. Doesn't change how I feel about him. Perhaps he's turned a corner and he chose a fantastic time to! Dont see why Eovaldi wouldn't be here next year

the last few years of the Price deal are going to be rough, but if he can deliver one title here, you probably just take it and write off the rest.

I just learned the only time the Sox blew a 2-0 lead in a series was 1986 to the Mets. I didn't need to relive that experience.

That was then, this is now. Back then we all expected doom, now we expect championships.

I think most would agree in '86, the Mets were the better team. 108 wins, +130 run differential to Boston's 95 wins +80 run differential.

Clearly not the case this year.

Except for the whole "expecting doom" thing.

That's reserved now for the last 2 minutes of Giant games.

I think it's more like 60 minutes these days. (NOTE: my family are all giants fans).

The Buckner days are long gone......I believe he was exiled to the Island of Elba or Idaho to hide from his beloved fans......

You're right. Flashbacks to the glory days of 2014-16, when they would have the lead the whole game just to cough it up after the 2 minute warning.

Only the 65 yard FG to lose to Carolina a few weeks back really qualifies this year.
