Sherman is the type of guy who will hide in the sewer when he loses but if his team wins he is the first one looking to talk shit to a microphone. I think that is common for people with huge egos and very little maturity.

Well everyone on here would be included in that :L

I would say winning also does bring a lot of bandwagon fans that don't represent those who have endured 10+ years of following the team. I wouldn't say those fans are a great representation of those who actually love the team and have even when they were not winners. Same thing happened when we got Peyton Manning in we had a lot of people claiming to have been lifelong Bronco fans that honestly didn't know we had a team before Peyton joined us. Same with Tebow fans. Can't let a few outliers who claim to be fans be what speaks for the majority of fans that are actually pretty decent people.

Completely agree. I actually wanted to include bandwagoners in my criticism but what I wrote clearly didn't do that.

There are a handful of Hawk fans that post here that have been praising and griping about the Hawks for almost 20 years together. We've seen the good with the bad and dealt with the ridiculous bandwagoners, as well as the people who constantly want us to fire our coaches despite the continual success.

That's one way to look at it...
Of course one may state you brought it on yourself (as a fan base, not you) with the cockiness of both the team and fan base...and bringing NE into it doesn't help your argument...

Again, when a team consistently does well some of the fans will come off as cocky. Now way around it. People still hate the Cowboys and they haven't been a serious threat for 20 years, and still talk about how cocky Cowboy fans are.

Bandwagon fans are around because they only enjoy cheering for a winning team. When that happens they complain and eventually jump ship to the next winning team. They are a bi-product of getting to cheer for a winning organization. They are annoying but hey at least it means you are winning. Believe me until you deal with Tebowmaniacs you don't even know the half of it with bandwagon fans. I mean honestly they made me hate being a Bronco fan for a while. Every conversation turned into "Tebow is a god among men." You could be talking about the safety play and somehow the conversation always went back to how amazing Tebow was.

Yeah I remember that. It was frustrating for just about everyone so I can just imagine what it was like for Bronco fans.

And well deserved IMO. Like I said, i know what it is like to be a part of an annoying fan base that makes you cringe at times...

I enjoy watching Cam. He seems to be having fun out there. I love that the owner suggested to him (and the rest of the team) to start giving balls to little kids in the stands. Makes me smile every time I see it (although I don't want to see it very often in a couple weeks).

I also don't have a problem with what Sherman did a couple years ago. He backed up his bravado.

It happens. I cringe everytime a Seahawk fan posts a "This is why the Seahawks are awesome" thread.

I really wanted to laugh, but just couldn't. Next time try "owner" instead and maybe you will be funny...

By the way Rams fan. you probably will be getting a new QB and HC this year or soon...now that's what we call irony...
As a Ram fan, I will be elated to get a new QB and HC.

ZOMG 1200 people have signed it, and they all live in Washington for sure. Because nobody ever lies on the interwebz, and trolling is anathema to something like an online petition.

Yep, the city of Seattle hates Cam Newton.

By the way, this Superbowl is a win-win for me. I'd be happy for either team. Cam getting a SB would elevate the Seahawks/Panthers rivalry, and Peyton is a good guy in my book, so I wouldn't mind seeing him go out with a bang.

He took down the FB link to the petition because Hawk fans were letting him have it.

A few weeks ago rumors were floating around that Fisher might step down as the Rams HC. To which, the Rams owner and a couple others in the FO I believe publicly ask that he wouldn't and to stay on as HC.

To which all I could think of was WTF? Not only does Fisher have an LAPD chokehold on what seems like a lifetime appointment to be an NFL HC regardless how shitty he is at doing it. Now he's got an owner asking to stay on.

The Jeff Fisher vexing effect is strong indeed.
