People were asking if how we were winning in 2011 was sustainable. We ended up making the playoffs. Getting into the habit of winning is a good thing. Hopefully Allen can provide a 2011 type spark that we got when we benched Orton.

Tebow’s run was one of the most improbable that ever happened in the NFL. I wouldn’t expect it until we’re in the middle of it again.

I’m always hoping for it, of course.

Going to need more than a couple 1sts and couple 2nds to take Brady off your hands.

Good to see you back. Did you move to the moon ...:dhd:

At least I believe it was you that moved and gone for some time?

TBH Keep losing these 50/50 games and move up the draft board every round. This team could easily have 3 more wins right now but they would still be the same limited roster. Better to take those lumps this year, lose those 'close' ones, and move on up the board. Need a top 5 pick and w/ so many teams sucking ass this year, you really have to earn that pick.

I'm not calling for the team trying to tank , but play the youths and use it for player growth. The outcome of the game doesn't mean shit given this is a sunk season already. Play, improve, and lets use this as a long pre-preseason for 2020

I agree: don’t tank but get as much young talent as much playing time as possible. The 2020 preseason is now. They have got to see what they have in Lock especially. More games is better than fewer.

After the way Flacco bailed on the team against the Chiefs I favored starting either of Allen or Rypien last week @ Colts. I know the staff knows more about football than I do but I’m a little baffled they couldn’t see what was obvious: Flacco isn’t the guy.

This season is only truly lost if they fail to invest in their future by evaluating the younger talent. On the upside if Lock shows some talent they likely get through some of the growing pains in a year that is “lost” and not a year they may have higher expectations.

I’m ok with tanking, this offense is terrible. Throw a dart at any offensive position other than rb and that could legitimately be our first round pick. Not to mention the desperate need for cb, d line etc. Yea, tank away

I'm with you trashy - ;)

Just as a matter of simple psychology Bronco seasons where they do better than expected are more fun than seasons where they are expected to contend and flop instead.

As I was saying..

but we are much better with Allen the last two games. Positive signs.

Fant is gonna be really good once the game slows down for him. He is getting great separation. Sutton might be a star.

Too bad the Denver defense called it quits at halftime.

Meh I wouldn’t say they quit. They surely didn’t play well but I didn’t see a quit in them. They still got pressure on the QB and some sacks. Just too many breakdowns in coverage.

20 points in the 4th quarter, I'll say they quit.

And we really need to upgrade our special teams this offseason. McManus killed us today with that miss.

Were they picking on a DB our was it was it just spread around and they all Sucked ?

Why would we total abandon the Run? We could have won the game from our stats running the football more in the second half .

The problem is good kickers are hard to find and McManus has been one of the better kickers in the league this year. He just misses at the worst possible time. I believe he’s only missed 3 times this year but each has been costly.

The problem becomes who’s out there that we can replace him with?

Outside of an ill-timed TE sweep in the 2nd half the play calling was pretty good today. Scangarello I thought had his best game as an OC with his creativity and balance.

I still say we are not using Freeman Right, with 20 carries will wear teams out....

With a 20 point lead you run the football. If we get one 8 minute scoring drive we win the game.

Defense definitely didn’t quit. They just didn’t play well in the second half. Big difference.

McManus seems to miss when things are going south and he has a chance to get us back into it. I have always felt he is a big momentum kicker. When the team is playing well he is usually clutch. When the team is losing a lead and things are going downhill fast and he has an opportunity to make a field goal it seems like he misses in those situations
