So what should the B1G have done? Only one rep to a bowl back then. A vote was the only thing they could do.

I'm not getting into that game. The point was that we don't claim that year as a national title, even though some polls gave one to us. Unlike Washington who claims a title that wasn't an AP or Coaches.

I'm happy for Ohio State and MSU (and Michigan). It's good to have three B1G teams among the top 10 recruiting classes. The B1G is getting serious about recruiting.

We landed two consensus top 300 recruits today. Both of them had Michigan offers. One of them (Craig Watts) had offers from just about every big program in America: Ohio State, Alabama, Florida State, Miami.

This means we are winning the national title in 2018, right?

I don't get excited about recruiting until Feb, 1. Even moreso on NSD because then it becomes real.

Fun to watch, good for water cooler talk until then.

Too much happens in between now and the end of the season.

I like to follow it during this time of year because it's usually about the only football news going on. But as we've seen a billion times before, a lot can happen between summer and January when it comes to recruiting; some of it depends on how your team does during the season.
