I would’ve kept Cruz until he didn’t produce. Pretty simple.

Management never could get past him taking the suspension. They let that turn into a personal thing, when it should have been a personnel thing.

The only way they would have kept Cruz is by a multi year contract. They offered the QA remember. He turned it down and the entire league did not give him a multi offer that he liked.
