After today and hanging with KC there’s no excuses for not winning this game

Can we recover from this week’s crushing defeat?

I think we're only disappointed about 5-5 because of the way the last two losses happened. A blowout loss to a an angry team that itself lost the week prior and in a venue historically we play some of our worst ball rather than a game where we went in and looked competitive. Then to follow it up by losing on a blocked FG. Those are two very tough losses.

But 5-5 is 5-5 and most of us predicted losses these two weeks and roughly a 5-5 record at this point so we are essentially right where a lot of us expected to be at this point.

So that brings us to this week and the Falcons. They're a solid team, but. I feel like we are too. I think this Broncos team is trending right and we will get a chance to see if they have the resiliency to not take two very disappointing losses and let them bleed into their next game. They've got to put it behind them and move forward.

Now the Ravens game is an outlier. It was just a week where it all went right for Baltimore and wrong for Denver. In other words, standard Broncos @ Ravens contest. But this game with the Chiefs should offer a lot of reason to still believe. They were in it. Even with the referees thumbs on the scale, giving the Chiefs offense a reprieve on a drive in which the defense earned a punt would eventually result in a TD, this team was still in it. We are seeing the standard growing pains, such as the two massive sacks.

And despite it all, we were in a place to win it. I'm not weighing in on that blocked kick. It does sometimes seem like every FG the Broncos kick is a matter of anything can happen, good or bad, while the most reliable kickers in the universe are whoever is kicking for the Broncos, but that's how I feel every year, not just this one. I had a very bad feeling before that kick so I actually walked away so I wouldn't have to see it. Good choice.

All this to say, I think the Atlanta Falcons are going to have their hands full this week.

As much as this sucks probably good for a young team to experience a heartbreaking loss and rebound from the adversity.

Still time to rip off a 5 6 game win streak - and hit the playoffs.

Seven games left, if we win 5/7 and end up w 10 wins, it’s playoffs. We can make it easier on ourselves by winning this week. Quite a few winnable games after this one.

This year is flying and as long as we win 2 more games we will meet my expectations.

I am looking for growth among players to end the season. WR's, RB's with a core of young players I really like on this team and of course Bo keeps growing. Really happy with our OL this year.

I’d like to see 9 wins minimum. 10 and a playoff run would be amazing.

If we hit 7 or more wins with a rookie QB I'll be thrilled. I think we keep JD Vance another year because unlike the rest of you goofball, nobody is willing to bet the farm on a HC who has one great year under his belt and a shit ton of mediocrity swept under the bed. He will of course get interviews this year because... well you know.

I understand that. I would like to see 9 wins too. Just saying my before season prediction was 7 and I feel at this point we are going to hit that and a little more.

Mine was 8 or 9. Really hoping for 10 and the playoffs but before the season started I really felt we could at minimum reach 8.

Keidron Smith waived. Probably activate Turner-Yell. Smith probably will go on the PS.
