True that, I'm just looking at the trends. Colorado and SD are a joke. SF is obviously still hot as of late, but I'm worried about how bad they did this year with essentially the same team that won it last year. That is a pretty big red flag. And honestly, AZ is slipping. They have only had one title in the last 7 years, where they had 3 in the 7 years prior to that. LA is trending up. 3 NLCS in the last 7 years is better than any other West team. Period.

And additionally, as a team year by year:

LA has had all but 3 seasons over .500 since 1996.
SF has had all but 5 seasons over .500 since 1996.
AZ has only had 8 in their 16 year life.
Colorado has had ONLY 5 seasons over .500 since 1996.
SD has had ONLY 6 seasons over .500 since 1996.
