not true at all.... hindsight always makes those comments easier... but they were were one of the trendiest picks to win their division... did people think KC was still going to represent the AFC in the SB, absolutely... But the jets were a very popular bet...

Lose to the Texans on Halloween - spooky, 3-6

Then they have to win v the Cardinals, Colts, Seahawks, Dolphins and Jags (possible) to get to 8-6 and back in the conversation.

Can't truly close the coffin on them until they take their eighth loss.

I didn't even have a redemption plan that included them LOSING to the Patriots.

If they don't beat Houston that's it. Not even sure what they do about next year.

It’s not proving your point. And you are arguing two different things. The disappointment is not solely because of the expectations. It’s the entire picture. But to say that the jets did not have serious expectstions of competing. Is just flat out wrong.

Is the level of disappointment exaggerated? Sure. But that is because it is current. And current things are currently being felt.
