Some of the worst sports takes ever, and that's not even in hindsight. That they really thought they only hired Stefanski because he became available sooner was so beyond absurd, and they reported it as if it was fact. They knew irrational critics would eat it up and they did. Couldn't be that they wanted to hire him a year earlier and he was their guy? Do these guys ever come back and admit to how wrong they were, or do they just move on to their next set of ridiculously bad takes?

Virtually every word uttered in that video turned out to be completely wrong, almost opposite in fact, including the last part about Wentz, who right now is maybe the worst QB in football.

The funniest part is when Simms says, "We've watch the offense in Minnesota, they can't run the ball."

*Cleveland has the #1 rushing offense in the NFL through 11 games*

That's priceless. Didn't he at the end rip them for Wentz and call him a clear top 5-6 QB? Favorite still that he thought we only hired Stefanski because he was available sooner.

He said Wentz was a top 6 QB LOL. Yeah, Simms has always loved Wentz I remember watching some stuff early in the year and in the offseason...Cowherd and Simms will continue to back Wentz until he is injured or out of the league.

This is for those who said Baker's miss this week was the "worst miss ever in EZ". Not sure said by anyone in this thread, but saw/heard it a lot. This is not meant to bash Ben, just to point out even the elite of the elite have made worse throws/decisions. Ben instead lofted a ball into a crowd and got picked (Baker's only an incompletion)....

That was idiotic when he said it. The Vikes finished the season last year under Stefanski with the 6th best rushing team in the league last year with a 4.5 ypa which was above league average. And that was done with an offensive line that was completely garbage on the interior.

The Vikes have taken a HUGE step backwards in terms of offensive playcalling after losing Stefanski. Kubiak is garbage at play calling.

Last year we were 16th in yards but 7th in points. This year we 7th in yards but dropped to 12th in points. And that is in large part due to the playcalling being garbage and not being able to turn offensive production into points.
