"Decent...for the Mariners" should be our motto.Mariners signed SS Didi Gregorius to a minor league contract.
Gregorius was tearing the cover off the ball in the independent Mexican League this season and provides Seattle with some extra organizational infield depth at Triple-A Tacoma. The 33-year-old veteran shortstop struggled to a lackluster .567 OPS in 63 games last year for the Phillies before being released in early August. He's a decent depth pickup for the Mariners.
Or... "Refuse to Cruise"..."Decent...for the Mariners" should be our motto.
I guess the FO hoped Mariner fans wouldn't remember his last couple years in Philly. If the thought is going from Wong to the butcher, it's an equal bust.I actually wanted him back when he signed with Philly. We dodged that bullet only to get him by it now...just cheaper now.
Very true. But it is the Mariner way after all.I guess the FO hoped Mariner fans wouldn't remember his last couple years in Philly. If the thought is going from Wong to the butcher, it's an equal bust.
Yep and it's aggravating.Very true. But it is the Mariner way after all.
