After last nights game and the news of Paxton I elected to save myself the frustration and not watch tonight.

Looks like I made the right decision.

Does anyone think this team finishes better than 10 games below .500 at this point? It just feels like a massive slide is coming all the way to the end.

I could see a long losing streak coming up. These kind of losses are very demoralizing, the manager has fucked up these last two games, the guys in the clubhouse have to know it and there's no ace to lean on to get a win when you really need one. We'll see but yeah this could be the beginning of the end for this team.

Paxton, your ace, goes down and you respond by mis-managing the bullpen in two consecutive games. Pretty sure you aren't going to get too many Manager of the Year votes for that.

Barring some miracle, I'm pretty much numb to how this is going to end (as usual) and likely won't watch much the rest of the way. Sadly, it's yet another year where football is forced to fill the void where playoff baseball should be.
