Yep. Moore should not have gone back out for the 7th inning when they have the components in place to shut down the game (Zych, Rypznzvshgtfiski and Vincent). I am still on the fence on this especially when a guy like Edgar doesn't get in and I am sure he didn't do the juice. But true, every generation had their flavor of choice. Heck Gaylord use vaseline all the way to the HOF.

It's a tpuchy subject and I thinbk it is okay to be opinionated about it.

I personally think that Edgar probably was a juicer. What he did after 1994 compared to what he did before 1994 are astronomical. True, he became a DH, but I don't remember any other player, with that much history as a position player, becoming a DH and having such a profound affect on their career.

I guess the reason why I can accept it is because does not bother me and does not minimize his accomplishments.

But, think about it. Edgar had an OPS over 1,000 at the age of 37. He had a .895 OPS at age 39. He had a 160 OPS+ at age 38. I mean, who else in that era did that, at that age, other than Barry Bonds?
