Just got back home and see Pazos is on the hill so I assume Felix must have reached his limit? What's up with our O and only 1 plated? Felix must have done a half ways decent job I guess with only 2 for the A's. It kind of figures, when we pitch a decent game the offense says, "oh well, guess it's time to take a break". Will be nice when we can get the two pieces to fire off together.

Looks like Manaea is keeping the guys in control. He's 1-2 so far but has an ERA of 1.74 which is looking a lot what the M's are trying to push today. We can't sweep this series against the A's? Who flipped the switch off today?

• Bob Dutton of MLB.com offers some insight into the return timetable of Mariners catcher Mike Zunino, who’s been sidelined the entire season thus far with an oblique strain. On Monday, he’ll begin a rehab assignment at the Class A Advanced level. “I’m really close,” said Zunino. “I think I’m ready now. I’ve had a couple of days of full swings in batting practice, but they’re just being really cautious.” As Dutton notes, that probably means the assignment will last at least two or three games. Meanwhile, 37-year-old right-hander Hisashi Iwakumahas been throwing bullpen sessions and could begin a rehab assignment himself in a few weeks. He had shoulder surgery on September 27th of last year after spending the bulk of the season on the DL.

Oakland's starter played to his stats and was tough. Sometimes you just gotta tip your cap. Felix was also good except for the 1 pitch in the first inning. 2 out of 3 is definitely acceptable, but hopefully the bats come alive again vs Houston.
