Leake was fantastic last night right up until the tough inning. The Astros are showing why they are the defending WS champs. Their rotation is ridiculous, and more often than not, good pitching beats good hitting. Getting the split would be awesome, but it's not like the season is over if we cannot pull it off. We lost the battle last night, but the war goes on after the series and with Gamel & Zunino.

I was really only expecting one win this series so I guess I cant be too discouraged. Thinking the Astros probably bomb Marco today. I've somewhat already moved on to the weekend. We just cant beat these guys, they own us in every way.

That Friday off day in Minnesota they were playing basketball and he tore his ACL or MCL. He talked about it the next broadcast and said he'd be out a little while.

The umpire is also the great equalizer. Marc just hit the strike zone with all of the first 4 pitches to Altuve and found himself down 3-1 and walked him.

Cano, know your outs!!! He makes some dumb ass mental mistakes at least twice a year and not throwing to 1B for the triple play was one of them. He got bailed out because the hitter also thought there was 3 outs and walked off the field.

Losing 3 of 4 to Astros will come down to the plays we didn't make. Each loss started with mistakes. Seaver has been behind most of them. You can't beat a great team playing that way.

And as I typed that he had a line drive go off his glove so 1st and 3rd no outs. Pay that man more money!!!

"Mistakes" is low hanging fruit, but the offense also hasnt done much of anything going on 5 games now.
