Not sure why Raymond thinks Trevino did a good thing grounding into a DP

Could they be adding him to the roster and calling him up?

We have no clue what goes on behind the scenes with ownership and JD. Do you think a bunch of TJS arms are were first choice? Fortunate we got Lynn and Minor for very reasonable prices. What about Pence, Calhoun and Santana? Was that stupid GMing?

Problem is we did not develop good pitching soon enough and owners did not want to pay. Other issue is guys we hoped would be stars or at least better than average like Mazara Guzman and Odor. Elvis has not played that well either. But Choo has who we want to unload but the owners probably don’t. We really aren’t playing Pence daily which tells me we are really trying to see a few guys

Re Odor. He is not blocking anybody other than Solak who is not on the roster. Love to get him a legit shot but seems like we have had plenty of players kill in AAA just not make it happen in MLB. IKF needs playing time too. Just not that easy to make it all work quickly
Give us the names of the "plenty" who have killed it in AAA and didn't make it happen up here. Killing it is hitting well over. 800 for an OPS.

It would be stupid to go with Roogie again next year when you have a player doing this well in AAA at his position. It is very foolish and I don't care what else he may have done.

Someone in the front office is saying

“ but but he’s a fan favorite. He has a contract. He punched Bautista. The kids love him. He hits home runs which are exciting”

We’re pretty much playing the little bastard for literally every other reason except for baseball ability at this point. I’m freaking sick of it.

What happened to that Cuban outfielder we signed 2 mil for, Saddles. He sure taking the slow track up here.

Ownership gets their fair share of the blame, no doubt. I dont think stupid GM'ing is the problem, I think it's ego
Probably foolish is a better word. Too foolish not to check his ego even when it is detrimental to the team. Either way, stupid or foolish, it results in very bad decision making.

Top of my head was Rua and Robinson. Lot and even Profar did not deliver as hoped.

Point is just because you do well in minors means it translates to the MLB. Just seems like you always make excuses for prospects who did not deliver. Killing is is a subjective word BTW. We all have our opinions

But I hope Solak gets his shot. I root for all Rangers to do well.

JPM started off very slowly, but has done well since. Maybe sometime in 2021. I still have more hope for him than Taveras, but Taveras has been hot lately as well.

It’s pretty sad when most of the fan base can see right through it.
