I didn't say anything of the sort. Obviously you have the right to have an opinion on Harrison saying this word. At the end of the day though the context of his use of the word was not racist. Again, paste him for it all you want, it was really REALLY stupid. But it wasn't racist.

It is ingrained in the psyche of the people of this country. Notice I didn't say the black people of this country. The word needs to go away but it's not going anywhere in our lifetimes. But what it really boils down to is racist, oppressive white people (if you are not racist or oppressive then that is not directed at you) used that word to beatdown, bully and belittle black people for a few hundred years. The outrage for the cracker comment would have been justifiable if he had said that, but don't kid yourself, there would have been zero outrage. At least in the media.

You really think that Harrison could have sat there and called Kaminski a cracker and there would be no outrage? I think that's absurd. And I read a few different articles about this issue this morning. I don't recall them even mentioning it on sportscenter. I could have missed it but I don't recall it. But it would have gotten the same reaction or worse on the internet.

Seriously? I knew a white guy who claimed to have black blood knowing damn well he didn't have a drop of black blood he wanted to be black so bad. I personally don't understand why anyone would want to be something they aren't but I guess that's just me.

The key phrase in my post was "In their right mind". That guy was insane. He had to be. No one would want to voluntarily have to go through what most blacks have to in this country. Being white has all the built in advantages society can give you. Not fair, but the way it is.

I don't think the word was that big of a deal in Harrison comment on Frank. With or without the word, he pretty much said fuck Kaminsky. Would it had sounded better to you if he said "fuck that Kaminsky" instead of "fuck that *****". The N word really did not change the context of what he said. Would he still not get slammed and be forced to apologize if he would have just said fuck that Kaminsky? Either way he was going to get destroyed
