He's working out a lot better than the guys the Giants took in the 3 rounds above him.
The first round pick has moved up to AAA despite mediocre numbers and lots of injuries. He's probably one of the worst hitters in Sacramento.
The second round pick has also moved up to AAA despite some middling numbers and is doing slightly better than the 1st round pick in Sacramento.
The third round pick got stuck in AA and has spent most of this year on the IL there.
And the two guys picked directly below Fitzgerald (5th and 6th rounds) recently got released by the organization.
